The time has come to say goodnight to San Antonio. It's been fun despite the heat. Here's a cool photo from tonight. The moon was full but you can't see it well with the cloud cover. It's still 88 degrees at 10 pm and miserably hot. I miss my mountain air.
Tomorrow, we'll be driving all day and head to Cane River Creole National Historic Park in Louisiana. It is 207 acre park at 400 Rapids Dr, Natchitoches, Louisiana which specializes in the preservation of resources and cultural landscapes of the Cane River region and Creole plantation life with restored building, exhibits and ranger tours. 4.6 Stars according to online so I'm happy to see some French roots and hopefully get some food from the region.
