About Us

We are Scott and Sue.

I retired last year and have wanted to re-visit the country so we're hitting the road full-time in an RV.  Scott is still working but he can work from anywhere so we'll spend a week or two in one location so he can get his work done.  In the meantime, I'll be doing genealogy research and relaxing with a good book, playing with "the girls" and sewing with my Bernina in tow.

We have our house up for sale and have been selling stuff to pay off our 2017 Dodge Ram 3500 Laramie Dually extended cab, long bed, diesel Cummins engine truck that is pulling a 2017 Keystone Montana 3730FL fifth wheel.  As soon as the house sells, we'll truly be two Utah gypsies traipsing this big beautiful country of ours and seeing what she has to offer.  I've already been to every state in the union except for Wisconsin, but I haven't been around much since 1976 other than our military time in Hawaii, South Carolina and Colorado plus living in California and Utah, so this is going to be a great experience!

Roxy Roo-Roo

We're traveling with our little girl babies - Roxy, Coco and Chanel.

Roxy is our cute little 10 year old Chorkie.  Her daddy was a Chihuahua and her mommy was a Yorkie so she's quite a little darling.  Weighing in at 6 pounds, she's our sweet, cuddly little girl.
Roxy was getting bored, so we decided to adopt a puppy that she could learn to love and play with.  We looked near and far for just the right little one and we found a breeder fairly close to home.  We went to meet her and her two puppies, a black and tan Yorkie and black and white party Yorkie.  Well, Scott fell in love with the black and tan and I fell for the black and white so, you guessed it, we bought both of them!  Hence, Coco and Chanel.

Coco and Chanel are both 9 months old now and Roxy is having a ball, but she does like to put them in their place at meal time.  They are all still learning to get along, but overall, they are a bundle of joy!
Chanel and Coco

The journey of life is not meant to be feared and planned; it is meant to be traveled and enjoyed.

I love this quote on my home page:

Roads were made for journeys - not destinations.
Confucius.

Let the journey begin...

  3. Hey, how are your journeys going? Interesting, we have a family from our ward who just started their own adventure--sold their home and bought an RV, truck with 5th wheel, etc. Now traveling the country, doing like you guys. I guess the difference is that they've got six young kids! Yeah, six! In a big RV. Maybe you'll cross paths! Anyway, I saw your blog and decided to follow along.

    1. Hey guys! Glad to have you follow the blog. The easiest thing to do it to subscribe to emails. Then, whenever we post, you will get notified. I just posted the last three things we just did...our trip to Mexico, our new Rig furniture, etc. Many LDS families are full-timing with kids. Great educational experiences for them. Tell them there is an LDS Full-time Facebook group if they aren't on it. Sue
