Hot Springs National Park KOA

We stayed at the Hot Springs National Park KOA in Hot Springs, Arkansas from June 13-14 and really enjoyed it here.  They had a nice clean park and we ranked it a 4/5.  There wasn't any Satellite due to all the trees, but I didn't mind a bit.  Scott likes his TV so I think he gets a bit annoyed but I can live just fine without it.  We were in site L5 and this was a nice pull through on the lower level.  Also, there wasn't much grass for the girls.  We were escorted to our site and the managers were prepared for us when we got there so check-in was a breeze.
We were in L5 this is in the lower left corner blue area.
We were in the next to the end right.  We prefer the other blue area.
Or, even better, the orange premium patio area if we return.
We paid $40 per night with our KOA membership.  Generally, it's $45 weekdays and $47 weekends.  This park is set on a hill and so there is an incline to get to the office and we usually bottom out on these kinds of inclines since we are so long, so that's a little strike against them.  If we ever returned, I'd like site Pond or Garden or D5-9 as these D sites seem to be wider and easier to exit but the noise is a bit louder there.  We were tucked up against a cliff barrier so it was quiet.  The site we had was on the edge of yet another cliff that looked down into the tent camping area and it was a bit difficult to exit and have a place to put our truck.  The roads are a bit narrow and hard to make turns easily in the dually.

We had ducks galore always visiting our campsite since we were close by the pond.  The girls went crazy every time they came around.
We enjoyed the locations.  It was extremely clean, close to Hot Springs.  It took about 5 minutes to be down on Bathhouse Row so it was convenient to that and the main road in and out of there.  Drawbacks were the narrowness of the lot, lack of grass, small and tiny laundry facilities by our spot but they did have a good offering of amenities and lack of Satellite for Scott.
