Beaver Valley RV Haven - 1 Star Stay

We parked the rig at Beaver Valley RV Haven in Wibaux, Montana after a long day traipsing through North Dakota and Montana.  It's fortunate that we bought a trucker GPS and put in our rig size into it because there was a super low train bridge that prevented us from going through Wibaux's Main Street.  The height is 13'6" and we're someone where around 13'9" now with the new suspension putting us higher than we used to be.  When we bought the rig, we were 13'5" and would have made it.  Fortunately, we followed a road along the tracks and crossed over the tracks about 3 blocks down and then back to the main drag.

The town is pretty small and really old.  I felt like I going back into time.

Beaver Valley RV Haven isn't anything to write about either...literally - they don't even have a website and I'm not how Scott even found this place.  I'm not sure why all the RV locations the past few stays have been terrible.  When Scott checked in, he walked right into someone's home while they were cooking dinner but that's what it was!

We checked into the building on the left with the deck.
We did have a pull through spot in weedy grass, water and sewer hook ups.  Of course, the lady put us by a HUGE tree!  What's up with that?  Because of it, we couldn't get our satellite TV.  And, there were only a couple people in the whole park.
They didn't have a park map so this is my version of one.
The rest of the place was pretty much deserted.  I think there were two other people there.
There was 1 unisex bathroom right across from our unit - just a large dilapidated building with cracks all over the walls.  There was a laundry - but it was closed down and it was being used as a beat up storage unit.  The other side of the bathroom was a rental unit.  I'm not sure what Scott is thinking lately with these places, but at least he had Internet for work while I go explore the rest of Theodore Roosevelt National Park tomorrow.  He said he couldn't find anything closer to the park and this was it.  Oh well.  At least we'll get a head start in Montana when we leave.

I guess if there's one nice thing about this park is that there is a barn quilt on the property!
Of course, our rating for this place is a 1.  We had full hook ups and a place to stay.  Paid $30 per night and that's it.
