Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from El Centro, California!
Scott was anxious to open our one and only gift - a carved wooden name placard with our names and RV on it from Becky.  We need to attach the chain and we'll be all set.  Scott wants to order another one to put underneath that says, Scott and Sue and then under that, Roxy, Coco and Chanel.  I'll have to get the name of the company from Becky and get that done.
Scott bought me a gold chain for my Dutch shoe at Zales this past week.  And, Scott wanted speakers for his computer so we ordered those.  That's it for us.
We spent the day just relaxing...and EATING!  At 10 a.m. we attended a brunch hosted by Elaine Kusick on our row at the RV park for everyone who lives on our row and a few single people in other spots.  It was a great pot luck over in the fireside room.  We brought a beautiful fruit plate.  Other items were breakfast  casseroles, waffles, ham, bacon, eggs and fruit.  Mimosas were had by many but not all.  We just enjoyed our orange juice.  The meal so we big that by the time dinner time came, I wasn't ready for more, but we had yet another dinner to attend.
Everyone enjoying themselves

This time with all the residents of the RV park in Ryerson Hall. For dinner, we ate turkey and gravy provided by the park and then, as usual, everyone contributed to the dinner.  I made baked stuffing and Scott made baby carrots with brown sugar.  It was a fun night.
When it was over, we sat back, with stuffed tummies and watched Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn that my parents owned.  I hadn't see the movie before, but it was pretty cute with a young Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire vying over a women.  Creative movie.  I enjoyed it.
